How much will my job cost?
We quote every job after Ray has had a look, so it's a genuine written quote rather than a guess. Size, access and condition all affect the price, so we'd rather see it than guess over the phone.
Is the quote free?
Yes, completely free and with no obligation to book. Tell us what needs doing through the contact form and we'll arrange a time to come and look.
Roofs
Do you pressure wash roofs?
No, never. Moss is scraped off by hand and the roof is treated with biocide. Pressure washing strips tile granules and can force water under the laps, so we won't do it, whoever asks.
How long does a roof clean last?
A proper scrape-and-treat roof clean keeps moss and algae down for several years, much longer than a quick pressure wash which lets everything grow back within a season.
Cherry picker & high access
What is a MEWP and why does it matter?
MEWP stands for Mobile Elevating Work Platform, the proper term for a cherry picker. Being MEWP-qualified means our operators are trained to use it safely, which matters when you're working four storeys up over a driveway or public path.
Do you do cherry picker work for other businesses?
Yes. We've done cherry picker hire with operator work for roofing contractors, landlords and property managers across Teesside, including cleaning the 1689 building on Finkle Street, Stockton for Hartburn Roofing.
Is the cherry picker only for commercial jobs?
No, plenty of residential jobs need it too: high gable ends, awkward gutters, or houses where scaffolding just isn't practical for a one-day job.
Drives, patios & gutters
Can you do my driveway and patio at the same time?
Yes, that's a very common booking. We can also combine it with gutters, fascias, soffits and windows as our complete exterior cleaning package for one visit and a package discount.
Do you clean Indian stone patios?
Yes, it's one of our specialities. Indian stone needs the right pressure and treatment to avoid damaging the surface, and we know it well.
Garden maintenance & other services
Do you do regular garden maintenance, not just one-off jobs?
Yes, lawns, borders, hedges, turfing, paving and decking, either as one-off tidy-ups or ongoing maintenance.
Do you clean conservatories and solar panels?
Yes, both are jobs we do regularly, including using the cherry picker for solar panels that are hard to reach safely from a ladder.
