Short version: when you use the contact form, your details come straight to Ray so he can quote your job. They're not shared with anyone else or sold on, and you can ask to see or delete them at any time.

Who we are
This website, inglebygardenmaintenance.co.uk, is run by Ray Spashett, trading as Ingleby Garden Maintenance (IGM), a sole trader based at Varsity House, 2 Falcon Court, Preston Farm Industrial Estate, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3TS. Ray is the data controller for any personal data collected through this site. For any question about your data, please get in touch via the contact form.
What we collect
When you fill in the contact form we collect your name, contact details, roughly where the job is, the type of work you're asking about, and anything you add in your message.
What we do with it
Your enquiry comes directly to Ray so he can get back to you, arrange a look at the job, and provide a written quote if you'd like one. Your details are used for that purpose only. They are not sold, passed to other businesses, or added to any marketing list without your say-so.
Legal basis
We process your details on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you (handling your enquiry and quote), and legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and understanding, in general terms, how it's used.
Analytics and cookies
We use privacy-respecting, low-impact site measurement so we can see roughly which pages are useful. It doesn't track you individually or set advertising cookies.
Retention
We keep enquiry details for as long as reasonably needed to handle your job and any follow-up, and delete them after that unless we're required to keep records for longer for accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to restrict or object to how it's used.
